Support
FLUX Crystal Clash is made by one person. Email reaches me directly and I read all of it — flux.clash@outlook.com.
Playing
Do I need to download anything, or make an account?
No to both. FLUX runs in a browser tab — open fluxclash.com/clash and you are in. An account is optional; it exists so your progress follows you between devices and so you can appear on the ladder.
The page took about a minute to open
The server runs on a free plan that goes to sleep after fifteen minutes with no visitors, and the next person to arrive waits roughly a minute while it wakes. It only happens on the first visit after a quiet spell; everything after that is immediate. If a load takes much longer than that, tell me — that is a different problem.
I picked a mode and nothing moves
Nothing is broken: a match does not begin the moment the arena appears. Three things happen first.
- Ban phase — about ten seconds, with the arena already drawn behind it.
- Champion select — about thirty seconds, or until you lock in.
- The how-to card — it holds the match until you press Got it — play! or close it with the × in its corner.
The match is live once the HUD shows a clock counting up. Until then your inputs are read but nothing consumes them, which looks exactly like broken controls and is not.
Which mode counts towards my rank?
Ranked 2v2 and Ranked Conquest. Practice, Duo, Training camp and the campaign do not move your rating — Practice says so on its own tile. Ranked results are re-simulated and signed on the server before they move anything, so a result can take a moment to land.
The leaderboard says “Board offline”
The game could not reach the ladder just then. It is almost always brief — reload in a minute. Your own progress is unaffected; the board is read-only.
Can I play offline?
No. Even Practice against bots needs the page, and every other mode needs the server. If you have added FLUX to your home screen the shell may open without a connection, but you will not get into a match.
Is there a Discord?
Not yet. Email is the way to reach me, and it is the fastest one.
Progress and accounts
My progress is gone
If you have never signed in, your progress lives in this browser on this device and nowhere else. It is lost if you clear site data, play in a private or incognito window, or switch browser or device. Nothing is recoverable from my side in that case, because it never reached me — which is the honest answer, and the reason to make an account if you care about the profile.
If you are signed in and progress looks wrong, check you are signed in to the same account, then reload. If it is still wrong, email me: say roughly what you had and when you last saw it.
I played as a guest and then signed in — did I lose that?
No. The two are merged rather than one overwriting the other: for every counter the higher number wins, and unlocks from both sides are kept. The one exception is your ranked rating, which belongs to the server and is never taken from the device.
I cannot sign in
- “Wrong email or password” — the pair did not match. Check for a stray space, and remember which email you used.
- “Check your inbox and confirm your email first” — the account exists but the confirmation link has not been opened. Look in spam.
- “Too many attempts” — sign-in is rate limited to keep other people out of your account. Wait a few minutes and try again.
- “Accounts are not configured on this server” — my side, not yours. Play as a guest and try again later.
I forgot my password
There is no self-serve password reset in the game yet. Email me from the address on the account and I will sort it out by hand.
Can I make an account if I am under 13?
No — accounts are 13+, checked at signup. You can still play everything without one; only the ladder, guilds and cross-device progress need an account.
V-Money and redeem codes
V-Money is earned by playing. Champions cost 600 and stay yours, and nothing sold anywhere makes you stronger in a fight. Currency packs are not on sale at the moment. If you bought one before that and no code arrived, email me with the order number and I will fix it.
To use a code you already hold: open the account panel, sign in, and paste it into the redeem field.
Devices and browsers
Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox, on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install, no plug-in, and no graphics card requirement — the game draws on a plain 2D canvas.
- On a phone, turn it sideways. Landscape shows twice the battlefield. If you would rather not, the rotate screen has a Continue in portrait button that appears after a few seconds.
- On a computer, fluxclash.com/clash is full-screen with keyboard controls.
- Add to home screen from your browser's share menu and FLUX opens like an app, in landscape.
- Very small screens — the in-match HUD needs about 375 points of width in landscape. Below that it will not lay out properly.
Reporting a bug
Email flux.clash@outlook.com. What actually helps me find it:
- The device and browser — “iPhone 13, Safari” is enough.
- Where it happened: which mode, and which screen — lobby, champion select, in a match, the end screen.
- What you did, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or a short screen recording, if you can. One clip beats a paragraph.
- Your fighter name, if you were signed in.
If you want to check the server is up before writing, fluxclash.com/api/health answers with the build it is running.
Reporting a player, a name, or something in the game
Use 🚩 Report in the lobby's bottom row, beside Patch notes and Account. It offers eight reasons — inappropriate content, harassment or bullying, violence, nudity or sexual content, hate speech, self-harm, spam or scam, and something else — and the report is sent to me. There is no chat in FLUX, so the only thing another player can put in front of you is their display name or guild name.
Deleting your account
In the game: open 👤 Account in the lobby's bottom row, sign in if you are not already, then tap 🗑️ Delete my account and confirm. Your profile and all of your progress are erased straight away.
The game then tells you one of two things. Usually your sign-in record goes with it and the account is completely gone. If it says removing the sign-in record needs one more step on my side, email me and I will finish it by hand — your progress and profile are already gone at that point, and only the login itself remains.
You can skip the in-game route entirely: email flux.clash@outlook.com from the address on the account and ask me to delete it.
Deleting is permanent. There is no undo and no way to recover a deleted profile.
